I'm sorry, but the American media coverage of the Tabasco/Villa Hermosa floods were just a rude diss to Mexico. The lack of coverage is indicia of major media not knowing their own job. Other then the Houston Chronical, NY Times & LA Times, I don't think a single US paper sent someone down there.

Maybe everyone will do better with the new
Chile Earthquake but I'm dubious, especially since it seems like the injury/death/mayhem total will be low. I'll keep an eye on flickr for good pics...
