new year's eve in san diego = lamesville

i'm not sure why every single new year's eve in san diego is so incredibly lame. seriously, i don't think i've stayed in town more than twice since the first year i moved here. i have no idea why that should be so, seems like there should be plenty of cool stuff to do, but alas, this is not the case. i practically pee myself with laughter every time i hear an ad for one of the big nye events advertising on the radio.

yeah- big night san diego is the one that has me laughing so hard- $110! for what? fuck... that... shit... i'd like to think "well at least the bands are getting paid", but i'm not sure that's actually the case.
